Lisa L. Fiance, Esq.

Lisa graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 1993 with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and is also currently licensed as a professional engineer (PE).  After graduation, Lisa joined San Diego Gas & Electric, where she quickly transitioned from being a field engineer into a large group manager. At various times in her career, Lisa has been responsible for managing groups of over 250 employees, coordinating multimillion-dollar budgets and negotiating collective bargaining agreements between the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and utility management.

As Lisa began to handle more mediations and negotiations, she learned that she had a natural talent for helping others resolve their disputes.  In 2008, Lisa followed her entrepreneurial calling, left her job, and sought out the best ADR training she could find.  She was credentialed as a mediator through the National Conflict Resolution Center (NCRC) in San Diego. In 2011, Lisa received her Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law with a specialty emphasis in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution.  While in law school, Lisa received many accolades and represented her law school in national and international mediation and negotiations competitions.  In fact, Lisa’s team took first place in the Liverpool John Moores International Mediation Competition in November 2009.  See the article here.
